who get millions of messages on a daily basis.
The Enterprise Edition includes all features provided in
ITA Secure Messaging Corporate Edition /

How does ITA Secure Messaging Work?
As the name implies, ITA Secure Messaging Edition works just like a network
firewall - it intercepts, inspects, and identifies ALL emails
arriving into your network. Based on our state-of-the-art technology built into the ITA Secure Messaging
Rule Engine, it intercepts spam emails and blocks them from reaching the mail
server. Customizable options allow you to set the rules compatible with
your business policies on which e-mails should be blocked and which emails should
be let in. Our comprehensive system of archiving and our single-click restore option
guarantees that not a single normal e-mail will be lost. The diagram below explains
how ITA Secure Messaging works to block Spam.
When an email comes into your Network from the Internet:
- ITA Secure Messaging intercepts the message and forwards it to the ITA Secure Messaging Rules Engine.
- E-mails are evaluated, assigned a score by the Rules Engine and categorized as Good, Possible Spam or Spam.
- Depending on the results received from the Rules Engine, ITA Secure Messaging either archives email as spam or forwards it to your mail server for delivery to a user Inbox.
- More than one machine can accept incoming messages. Filtered messages can be sent to more than one target SMTP server.
